Rosalía: reinventando la música española a través de letras y visuales

By analyzing Rosalia's songs "Malamente," "Pienso en tu Mirá," and "Aunque es de Noche”,  I learned how Rosalía transforms traditional Spanish music by blending flamenco with modern styles like reggaetón and electronic. I understood how she uses both lyrics and visuals to communicate emotions and themes like vulnerability, jealousy, and spirituality. Throughout my analyst, I was able to strengthen my analytical skills, particularly in breaking down artistic details and understanding cultural symbolism embedded in the songs. These skills will be useful for any future assignments where I analyze creative or cultural works. Additionally, learning how to interpret both visual and lyrical elements together will help me in projects that involve exploring themes and cultural expressions such as in music, art, or literature. Overall, the assignment allowed me to feel more confident in my ability to study complex artistic pieces and understand the artist’s message and technique.
